The figurine Mother with Child and the Immanent Possibility of an Endless Journey is part of the Spirit Vessels series. The work represents the unbreakable ties that forever bind family members. In this particular work, precious materials imbue the brightly-coloured figurine with a sense of power and spirituality, encouraging its use as a portable, protective amulet. In times of hardship, our ties with family members and friends are often strengthened, as we devote ourselves to supporting each other through uncertainty.
